The location of this self-catering accommodation is fantastic, surrounded by stunning countryside and just a short walk to a local park and ride. the rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. the kitchen is well-equipped and there is attention to detail throughout the whole house, including blackout curtains. the property has its own garden and the views are beautiful.
The showers have poor water pressure, which can be inconvenient when staying with a whole family.

We felt like we got great value for our money during our stay at the Old Stables. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with excellent kitchen facilities. The location was peaceful and surrounded by fields, yet still conveniently close to local attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and there were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the property.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider selection of breakfast options.

I stayed at The Old Stables Self Catering for a week in October. The property is beautifully decorated with excellent facilities, including eight lovely en-suite bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The dining room is impressive, seating up to 20 people, and we had a wonderful birthday party and dinner prepared by a local chef. The location is stunning, with a river running by and a charming garden. I can imagine it being even more appealing in the summer months. I would love to stay here again with my family.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic property with everything you would need. Excellent kitchen and everything was spotless and very comfortable. Blackout curtains great. Brilliantly located for local attractions. Warm, cosy and very well equipped.
Showers had very poor pressure, a mere dribble- reported it and downstairs was a little improved but still not very useable. com. They should understand that the review page forces the user to rate ‘Staff’ and therefore you have to enter a rating.
